We are happy to announce that we have now added Accelerated Individualized Mastery (AIM) for Multiplication with a Bridge to Division for students that have not yet mastered multiplication facts.

Last year we introduced an intervention program for students that were struggling with gaps in their addition and subtraction facts called Accelerated Individualized Mastery (AIM) for Addition and Subtraction.

We are happy to announce that we have now added Accelerated Individualized Mastery (AIM) for Multiplication with a Bridge to Division for students that have not yet mastered multiplication facts.

We know that when students are experiencing gaps in their fact mastery they can become frustrated, disinterested or discouraged. AIM for Multiplication builds mastery of basic multiplication facts and the ability to recall them automatically which enables students to focus on new concepts and skills.

What is AIM for Multiplication?

AIM for multiplication uses the successful instructional Math-U-See approach and manipulatives to address weaknesses with basic multiplication math fact mastery. Designed for students aged 10 and older, this program is sensitive to a student’s age providing language, supportive activities, and resources that are geared towards the older student.

Is AIM for Multiplication Right for My Student?

AIM for Multiplication is not meant to be a students first experience with multiplication facts. AIM for Multiplication is designed for students:

• Aged 10 years of age and older
• Have completed multiplication fact coursework without mastery
• Are struggling as they face increasingly advanced math concepts
• Use ineffective strategies such as tally marks or count on their fingers
• Need more effective strategies to increase fact fluency
