Online Drill Tool
Our Online Drill Tool is located on the Digital Toolbox. You can find the link in the “Resources” tab of each lesson for levels Primer through Zeta within the Digital Toolbox.
Accessing the Online Drill Tool
1. You will need to log into the Demme Learning Digital Toolbox.
- If you have purchased directly from Demme Learning (Math-U-See, Spelling You See, Analytical Grammar), you should already have an account. Use the email address and password that you’ve used to place your order. If you have an account but have forgotten your password, you can request to reset it here.
- If you have not purchased directly from Demme Learning (Math-U-See, Spelling You See, Analytical Grammar), you will need to sign up for a free Digital Toolbox account. You can sign up for a free account here.
2. From the left drop-down menu titled “Select a Product,” select “Math-U-See.”

3. Select a level (Primer–Zeta) from the right drop-down menu. You must first have “Math-U-See” selected in the left drop-down menu.

If you have purchased a Math-U-See Curriculum Level, you will have access to all lesson videos for that level. If you have not purchased a level or have not activated your Digital Pack code, you will only see the first three lessons of each level. For information about how to access your purchased Digital Pack, click here
4. The lesson video box will appear after selecting the level. Click on the lesson title and tabs will appear below the screen.

5. Choose the “Resources” tab.

Choose the “Online Drill” box.

How to use the Online Drill Tool
1) Begin by choosing which fact family you want to drill.

2) Click the “Get Started” button on the upper right.

This will open a box with questions for your student to answer. In this box, you will have the option to show or hide the images of the integer blocks.

3) Students should type in the answer and press the “enter” key or “return” key on their keyboard. (Note: if you are using Safari or Opera, you will need to use the space bar instead.)
4) Students will receive 20 questions. When the 20 questions are completed, an alert will pop up with the total number of questions answered correctly, along with the amount of time that it took to do the drill.
If you wish to continue after a set of 20 questions, you have two options. If you wish to continue using the same set of facts that you have already chosen, click the button labeled “Drill the same facts again.” If you wish to drill other facts or other operation(s), click the button labeled “Choose another set of facts to drill.”
