How can I use Analytical Grammar in a classroom or group setting?

Analytical Grammar was originally written for classroom use, and for more than twelve years it was modified and expanded to maximize and enhance efficacy for classrooms and co-ops. Schools and co-ops across the U.S. have been using it for years with great success!

Here are some factors that make the program flexible for this setting:

  • Flexible scheduling options help you incorporate it into your calendar.
  • Instructor guidance means you don’t need to be a grammar expert to teach it.
  • Option for student and peer grading to help save time.

New Analytical Grammar

We’ve outlined three sample schedules for instructor-led lessons of Analytical Grammar in this PDF.

Old Analytical Grammar

Junior Analytical Grammar (4th or 5th grade) takes 11 to 22 weeks

Junior Analytical Grammar: Mechanics (Completed after Junior AG) takes 15 to 30 weeks.

Analytical Grammar (Can be used from 6th grade and up with different recommended timelines) is a 35-unit course and can be delivered over one, two, or three years.
