How can I watch the Math-U-See Videos?

The Math-U-See videos are available on DVD and through online streaming in your Digital Pack. We offer both options to meet the various needs of our families. 

The DVD can be played in a traditional DVD player, on a computer with a media player, and on some gaming consoles that support DVD play. 

If you prefer to stream the videos, they are available through our Digital Toolbox located at digital.demmelearning.com. It is free to create an account at the Digital Toolbox. The first three lessons for all levels are available as a free preview. Once a level is purchased, the videos for that level are available for lifetime viewing. 

 
For our Accelerated Individualized Mastery products, videos are available in the Digital Toolbox.  If you do not have internet access or have issues using the Digital Toolbox, the DVDs are available for an additional fee.

Who is Watching the Videos?

It is often assumed that the videos are meant for the students to watch. Mr. Demme’s intent is for the instructor to watch the video to have an understanding of how to teach mathematics to the student. In each lesson video, Mr. Demme models how to teach math, how to ask questions to check for understanding, and how to use the manipulatives so the program can be effectively implemented.

Many instructors choose to have their students watch the videos. If you choose to do this, watch alongside them, pausing as needed to check for understanding so you know how to guide and assist them as they progress through the lesson that week. By doing so, you can reinforce the concepts and vocabulary introduced in the video lessons.
