How do I Assign a Course to my Student in Early Access?

With the Early Access experience on our new platform, you can explore the same content and resources as well as provide feedback on the improved navigation, cleaner design, and better mobile usability. You will still have the option to use the original Digital Toolbox at any time. 

To locate, create, and access a Student Account, first, please sign in or create a Demme Learning account.

Step 1: Go to your Students Area

There are two options to get you to access your Students.

Option 1 from the Dashboard: After signing in, under the Dashboard category, and from the sidebar, click on Students.

Option 2 from the Overview: Click on the Students panel located in the upper right corner, which will take you to the same location as above.

Step 2: Assign a Course

Once you’ve created a student account, you’ll need to assign them access to a course (Online Instruction with Video). This gives the student access to their instructional videos, resources, and any related materials.

To assign a course

• Locate the student you want to assign a course to. Click their username to open their Student Details panel.

• On the Student Details page, click on the button labeled Assign Course

• In the pop-up window, select the course you want to assign from the dropdown list.

• Note: Only courses you have access to will appear in the list. If you don’t see the course you expected, make sure it has been added to your instructor account.

• Click Assign Course to confirm.

Notes:

• You can assign more than one course to a student if your account includes access to multiple levels.

• Assigned courses will appear under the Assigned Courses section on the student’s profile page.
• Students will only see content for the courses you’ve assigned.
