How Can I Use Shop Pay for Demme Learning Purchases?

What is Shop Pay?

Shop Pay is Shopify’s fast and secure checkout option that saves your shipping and payment information for quicker purchases on our store and other Shopify-powered stores.

How does Shop Pay work?

When you choose Shop Pay at checkout:

1. Enter your shipping, billing, and payment information (first-time setup).

2. Save your details securely to your Shop Pay account.

3. For future purchases, you can complete checkout in just a few clicks.

Is Shop Pay secure?

Yes! Shop Pay encrypts and securely stores your information. Only Shopify and trusted payment processors handle your data—your card details are never shared with our store.

Can I pay in installments with Shop Pay?

Yes, if Shop Pay Installments is available for your order, you’ll see the option at checkout. Eligible orders can be split into interest-free payments or with low interest for longer terms. 

Eligibility for this service and the terms of their payment plan, including APR, are determined solely by Affirm and are outside our control. We do not have access to their credit information or application status. 

Shop Pay Installments is entering into an agreement with Affirm. Customers should review the terms and conditions before completing their purchase.

Do I need an account to use Shop Pay?

Yes, you’ll need to create a Shop Pay account using your email and phone number. This allows your information to be saved for future purchases.

Why didn’t I see Shop Pay at checkout?

Shop Pay may not appear if:

– The order isn’t eligible (unsupported currency or payment type).

– You’re using an unsupported browser or private/incognito mode.

– Your cart includes subscription or pre-order items not compatible with Shop Pay.

How do I update my saved information in Shop Pay?

Sign in to your Shop Pay account at https://shop.app to update your email, phone number, shipping address, or payment method.

Can I use Shop Pay for international orders?

Yes, for most countries and currencies supported by Shopify Payments. Some international locations may not be eligible.

I tried to use Shop Pay, but my payment didn’t go through. What should I do?

If your payment fails:

– Verify your card and billing info in Shop Pay.

– Try a different card or payment method.

– Check with your card issuer for any holds or restrictions.

I’m not receiving my Shop Pay verification code. What should I check?

Shop Pay transactions are protected with two-factor authentication. If you don’t get your verification code during login or checkout:

– Confirm that the phone number linked to your Shop Pay account is correct.

– Check for text message delays or poor mobile service.

– Ensure your phone isn’t set to block unknown or short-code messages.

– If using email verification, check your Spam/Junk folder.

– Restart your phone or toggle Airplane Mode to refresh your network connection.

– If all else fails, request the code again or update your phone number in your Shop Pay account. 

– If you’re still unable to receive the code or access your account, the best course of action is to contact Shop support directly through their help center for assistance with account-related issues. The “Contact Shop support” link is at the bottom. 

How do refunds work if I paid with Shop Pay or Shop Pay Installments?

Refunds process the same as any other payment method:

– If you paid in full, the refund goes to your original payment method.

– If you used installments, your remaining balance will adjust, or you’ll be refunded for payments already made.
