Managing Your Subscription: Upgrades, Downgrades, and Cancellations

We understand that your educational needs can change throughout the year. Our platform is designed to give you full control over your subscription, whether you need more room for new subjects or need to take a break.

Accessing Your Subscription Settings

To view or make changes to your subscription, sign in to your account at new.demmelearning.com and navigate to the Manage Subscriptions section of your dashboard.

1. Changing Your Subscription Plan

You can switch between the Essential, Expanded, and Premium plans at any time to better match your current needs.

How to Upgrade Your Plan

  • Step 1: Select Manage Subscriptions from your dashboard.
  • Step 2: Select the specific subscription you wish to upgrade.
  • Step 3: Click Change Plan to view your options.
  • Step 4: Select your new plan and click Upgrade Plan.
  • Step 5: Complete the purchase process.

What to expect: Upgrades happen immediately. You gain instant access to new Course Credits and Student Seats, and your billing is prorated—you only pay the difference for the remainder of your current cycle.

How to Downgrade Your Plan

  • Step 1: Select Manage Subscriptions
  • Step 2: Select the plan you wish to downgrade.
  • Step 3: Select the lower plan.
  • Step 4: Follow the prompts to complete the purchase

Important Timing & Compliance:

  • Downgrades are scheduled for the end of your current billing cycle. You will keep your current access level until your next renewal date.
  • Before a downgrade takes effect, you must remove any extra courses from your Library to meet the lower credit limits.

2. Managing Individual Add-Ons 

If you don’t need a full plan change, you can add or remove individual Student Accounts, Course Credits, or Instructor Accounts (for Group Plans) whenever you want.

How to Upgrade Add-Ons

  • Step 1: Select Manage Subscriptions.
  • Step 2: Select the subscription you wish to adjust.
  • Step 3: Select Customize Subscription and increase count for Course Credits, Student Accounts, and Instructors (Group Subscriptions), use the “+” buttons to increase your count.
  • Step 4: Select Complete Subscription.
  • The Manage Subscriptions Dashboard will reflect the changes

Removing (Downgrading) Add-Ons

  • Step 1: Select Manage Subscriptions
  • Step 2: Select the subscription you wish to adjust
  • Step 3: Select the Customize Subscription section, use the “-” buttons to decrease your count.
  • Step 4: Review the automatically calculated cost and click Complete Subscription.

Effect: These changes will take effect at the next billing cycle.

3. How to Cancel Your Subscription

If you need to stop your subscription, follow these steps:

  • Step 3: Select Manage Subscriptions  Cancel
  • Step 4: Follow the prompts and confirm by clicking Cancel Subscription once more.
  • Step 5: Confirm Cancel Subscription

What happens after I cancel?

Details
Continued AccessYour subscription remains active in “Pending Expiry” status until the end of your paid period. You have full access until that date.
Data PreservationWe do not delete your student progress or group data. It remains saved so you can pick up where you left off later.
ReactivationYou can click Reactivate in your billing settings at any time before the expiration date to resume service.
