Trouble opening Demme Learning pages in Safari on iPhone or iPad?

Some customers using the Safari web browser on iPhone or iPad after a recent Apple update may need to adjust a few settings if the Digital Toolbox, the Demme Learning Store, Early Access, or related Demme Learning pages are not opening correctly from the Demme Learning account dashboard.

What You May Be Seeing

This article may help if you are seeing one of the following:

  • Tapping Digital Toolbox, the Demme Learning Store, or Early Access does nothing
  • A new tab or window does not open
  • The page does not open or load correctly
  • Safari may be preventing the page from opening as expected

Step 1: Turn Off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking

Open the Settings app on your device (grey gear icon)

Tap Apps.

Tap Safari.

Under Privacy & Security, turn off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking by tapping on the green, active slider

After turning that off, it will appear with the slider on the left side and greyed out.

    Step 2: Allow Pop-ups

While still in Settings > Apps > Safari

    Find Block Pop-ups

Turn off Block Pop-ups by tapping on the green, active slider

After turning that off, it will appear with the slider on the left side and greyed out.

Step 3: Return to the Dashboard and Try Again

      After changing those settings:

      1. Go back to your Demme Learning dashboard
      2. Refresh the page
      3. Try opening Digital Toolbox, the Demme Learning Store, or Early Access again

You may also want to fully close Safari and reopen it before trying again.

      Still Not Working?

If the issue continues, try these additional steps:

      • Restart your iPhone or iPad
      • Clear Safari website data:
        • Go to Settings > Apps > Safari
        • Tap Clear History and Website Data
      • If the issue only affects one site, check whether Private Relay may be interfering
      • If you use a VPN, try turning it off temporarily and test again
